Contemporary Art - Christian Art - Still Life Art

Penny Post Gallery was established in 2008 to develop an ever expanding collection of Contemporary art, Christian art and Still Life art. As a photo gallery it tries to push the boundaries of considered techniques to create powerful images that often test the limits of what the camera is capable of within the fine art world.

Art Galleries 1 to 4 house images processed from either traditional photographic negatives or from a more modern digital media. Both have been given an equal level of respect to achieve the final image, and each original canvas print and original photographic art print is only manipulated with techniques that traditional printing would permit.

The images within these 4 galleries are available to buy in a variety of enlargements. It is important to observe the format in which the photograph was taken as this dictates the nature of the enlargement available: either 35mm (rectangular) or medium format (square). See footnotes below price list. Both the canvas prints and photographic art prints are purchased signed, numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

People’s Gallery is a picture gallery to house the work of budding artists to help communicate their name and art to a wider audience. It hopes to develop a personal space with which an individual artist can present a body of work, photographic or otherwise, from a personal and singular point of view. Unlike galleries 1 to 4, the Peoples Gallery is open to artists from a variety of visual art backgrounds.

As the author of the photography within the photo galleries I ask but one thing, to consider the images from an objective point of view, without judgement or controversy. Whether Contemporary art, Christian art or Still Life art, none are designed in any way to offend or disrespect the beliefs of others, but merely to expand on a passion to create thought provoking photography that lends a different take on familiar themes.
